Run Baby Run!
It's been a while since I had a decent post. I guess everyone has just about given up on me. Well, to you it might be a boring week, but it wasn't for me. Anyway, I'll try to back track whenever I can.

Liverpool, continued their winning streak, beating derby rivals Everton 3-1. After 10 yellow cards, 2 red cards, an own goal, harsh tackles, and beautiful freekicks. The classics match ended with Liverpool doing the double this season.

I guess just when I wanna blog, my trusty keyboard is nowhere to be seen. Sianz...

I finally saw the lawyer letters that was sent to the wrong address. Bloody neighbours don't even pass it to me until I asked for it. Never occurred to me I would get a letter from a lawyer at this age, but hey, I'm already an adult. Adult matters are starting to creep into my life. But of all things, it must come on bad note. I shan't say much what it is about. Will explain later.

This week's lab was make or break for us. As we ran our DNA results on the gel, it was an hour b4 we knew how our preparation over the week really turned out. Mine went well, some of my table had to redo a few samples, but no major cock-ups. Was kinda proud of my results, but it was because I was quite kiasu as well. I had also started preparing 2 more samples in case I had any cock-ups, but in the end I gave them away to my frens who needed them to redo.

Today was really relaxing, no rush, no pressure. It's really the calm before the storm. Well, let's say I had gone through half the hurricane to see the eye. It's now the half of the hurricane. Right now, appreciate the sunshine you see when you reach the eye. It's rare I see the reddish sky from my home on Saturday, but yup, I saw sunset at home today. Usually I'll be out with friends or stuck in hall or doing hall stuff, in which either I go home late on Saturday night or go back on Sunday morning. So to be able to be home is really having a zen-like feeling, where there's no dateline about projects or lab reports to care about. But it also means you should start catching up on you studies. Well, if I look back, I haven't been going back on Saturdays since the Amazing Race. That's like almost more than a month back.

But now, the smaller burdens have lifted but a heavy one has taken its place. Been trying to clear and sort up my personal stuff before the real studying starts. And there's more problems to handle.

Which brings me back to previous week. It was a damn unlucky week man. First off, there was the final lab report to do, then there was a project due. Then there's money matters to settle with claims. Then there was the incident with the lawyers. Then there was SEP to settle also, which lead to deciding how you had to plan for the whole year ahead. To go or not to go, to extend 1 sem or not, to double concentrate or just graduate? What will I work as in the future? Stuff like that ran through my head. Then I did an extra thing knowing I was already exhuasted and going through sleepless nights. Though if I did it, it would be a morale booster, but again, the gains weren't really great. Still, I tried, and paid the price. And as I say again, one cannot set the pace but the Hall sets the pace for you. If you don't follow the pace, you'll just lose. That was why I had almost conceded, but I haven't given up yet. Always believe that I can defy convention. So I'll stick to the plan..

Guess that's enough for today. More to come hopefully.

Not Such A Red Night After All
Sighz.... Today, Ferrari got 2nd and Liverpool lost. Sianz.. but there was better news elsewhere.

First off, today's race was rather normal. A pretty good start to the season ahead. Ferrari started with a one-two pole, but alas Alonso picked up the maximum points. What was different was the qualifying. With the new rules, it was much better n more exciting than the old format. Looking forward to more races ahead.

As for Liverpool. Expected lah. I kinda had a gut feeling they wouldn't pull through. And one mistake was all it took. Guess shit happens.

My second attempt at going SEP just got the green light from the 'jedi council'. Now it's the 'senate' I have to face. Still a long way to go before any confirmation. But finally, my heart can rest abit.

Then there's even more good news. The website is up and running and I can finally start working on it. So... there's gonna be a lot of website designing to do ahead. As for the harddisk idea, I wanted to revive it but guess it needs to be stalled again. One step at a time...
