Today's the day I finally got an MC. I guess it's gotta be after the 21km Run. I also got sick the day after Rag Day a year back. Besides that, nothing major, not even the flu came to me. Well, looks like I'm really pushing my body to the max every year. And what sickness did I get. You wouldn't want to know. It's sounds scary and even my neighbours closed their doors back then. This time, it also sounds scary, but not as bad as I thought.

On to other matters. Been sorting out stuff here and there and finally got down to the business of fixing my Gundam. After 2 nights, I got its torso and gun up. Yeah, all that hours for this much! I overestimated Bandai, yet amazed at the details and mechanism that the creators put in. Same goes for Lego. So things are going towards a routine now, but change is coming in the horizon.

There's a song buzzing in my head. The one I posted earlier. There's always open-ended questions and unfinish business. And this song kinda keeps a reminder at the back of my head. It should a good time to tie up loose ends and find closure.

Fernando Torres Season Review 0708

2008/08/16 Sunderland vs Liverpool (0-1)
The English Premier League has started once again and as always, they say that this could be their year. I have no comments on that, just keeping my fingers crossed. Prior to this starting match today, Liverpool met up with Standard Liege in their Champions League qualifications. Thank goodness it was goaless draw, as I couldn't wake up for it. So at least I didn't waste my sleep over it. But I heard it was a disappointing performance. Nonetheless, I kinda knew they were going to bring it to the second leg at home. It's their usual practice.

Thus, on to the big match today. Before the goal came, the game seemed to be what I would be watching on that weekday night. Liverpool seemed edgey and couldn't get their passes right. Even the line-up seemed out of place. So being the optimistic person I am, I watched on. But as it dragged on, the game wasn't going anywhere, and I thought it was going to be one of those frustrating nights again. To top it of, it might the face of what's to come for the rest of the season.

As the commentators mentioned, the game really needed a goal to kick start both teams into the long road ahead. Playing like this would get either team no where. So, in the 2nd half, Liverpool upped a notch, and we started seeing chances. The closest was when a shot got blocked and Torres was at hand to sweep up the scraps when Robbie Keane went in for the same ball and ended up blocking the shot. When they meant a pairing, it wasn't meant this way. After a few substitutions later, Torres's one and only chance sealed the game. The defenders just for that moment, gave him that extra inch of space, and he took it. The match needed something special and he was at hand to prove it and why Liverpool need him so much.

At the end of day, 3 points was enough to forgive everything. But in the long run through the season, they have a lot of ground yet to cover.

The weekend... Always good to have a weekend where you can breathe. But this weekend doesn't seem to be one. And it's been like this for the past few weeks. But at least for tonight, I can relax a bit. Not much time to relax either, as this is a good chance to do some housekeeping of my blogs first, before blogging myself. Dun worry, after reading a few of my friends posts, I think it's time I should be posting something. Something more concrete. Noticed as I was flipping through my archives, the past months I'm like clocking 2 posts a month only. That's pathetic man, compared to my former self. Guess I'll have to find my groove back.

First off, in line with my favourite toy and the best movie recently, it's the Batman Trailer in LEGO!



Not far behind. The Bourne Trilogy was also a classic. And here's The LEGO Ultimatum.


Last but not least. The Millenium Falcon. I'll get this if I ever win 4D.
