Forks In The Road
It's been a while since I posted in all my blogs. And not to post in this one was quite ironic. But yeah, it's been a crazy sem. And it has come to this day, 24 hours before the first paper, that my life has suddenly become so routine. So routine until I can go bathe n come back to study a chapter, then blog a bit before I go to bed.

That was how crazy this sem has been. The nights I remember were always surfing or playing or doing something until you're super tired that you just hit the bed. There were occasions where you say heck I'll bathe in the morning instead. Or even until morning comes when the dark sky turns to a pale purple and you know it's time for breakfast.

It has been crazy for every sem, and I can remember almost all of it. But this sem was different. I decided to set some things straight and to kick start all the systems I had set out to have but didn't maintain it. Not until now that I see the need to as well. Stuff like filing all ur certs, all your receipts from the bank and insurance. Sorting your mp3 and photos cos there won't be a time to sort them again. Sorting stuff is what I have been doing. And of course, throwing away all the unwanted stuff that I had accumulated or wanted back then.

It time to prepare for the real world, where you have to brave wind n rain.

But first, there's still the final lap to finish, and until you finish it, you can't say you're there.

So with all the forks in the road, I'm still thinking which to take.

My Buaya Week (2007)
I know it's long over due but here it is. Something everybody wants to know.

On the very first night (Thur), when we found out who we're gonna buaya, my buaya made peanut soup. (no pic) Some how she managed to sneak into my room and put it on my table. It was either she was stealthy, or my neighbours were good actors at giving the 'I-had-no-idea' look.

The next day (Fri nite) she gave me a mango cake. Not bad i must say. The container is still with me though.
Then it was the weekend break. So I came back on Sunday and the food was waiting for me. Mushrooms, cheese, bacon beads and a traditional drink. Not only that, there was a curtain hanging over my pull up bar. And the curtain was made of chips.

This was when my neighbours started to complain why I got all the food and insisted the next time the food came, it should have 6 servings (for the whole wing).

(if i'm not wrong the next nite I got 6 tarts, which were eaten up b4 i got a pic)

So 2 days later, their cries were heard and lo and behold, there was porridge for 6 that nite. But it wasn't the porridge that stole the show. That day was the only day I locked my door, and somehow my buaya manage to get in and deco my room, even putting hearts on the fan.

If I had a girlfriend and she saw this, I think she'd be jealous and angry.
So I thought that was it. I was impressed. She certainly was a high level buaya. It was stressful replying to her while giving my buayee a gd buaya week at the same time. So I got my toiletries and walked to the toilet. Then I saw this.

I was stunned for a few seconds. The guys must be pissed by now. But a few days later they had their stuff on the mirror as well.

And so the days quickly passed with little sleep as all of us toiled the night through to impress our buayees. If we worked as hard in reading week as we do in buaya week, we'll all score As.
So the final night b4 buaya closing + revelation. I got this.

Tried to replicate the mushrooms I had in yr one. It tasted almost the same, but somehow the feeling was different. Either way, both buaya's had got to my heart through my stomach.

It was the usual last night of buaya week mad rush. Kinda like mugging till no tomorrow and your paper was 8am the next day. I slept at about 6am when my stuff was done. I woke up at around 9 to find bread and milo on my chair next to my bed.

I heated it up and ate it. Oh and it was also nicely packed to go. I had a lect that day but I think I skipped it.

It was only a matter of time I knew who it was. And I was quite surprised at it as well. But her efforts paid off as she was crowned Buaya Queen. A few days later, she would become Ms Sheares.

If u say I'm lucky, yes I really am. But I'd like to believe karma plays a part as well. But that's another story for another day.

The Little Mermaid: Prologue
First I'd like to say there will be parts that don't seem to flow through the story. Rather than like a LOST series where each episode goes into another, this is more like the X-files where episodes can be weeks apart(in the timeline) or separate altogether, but there will be a story arc.

So where TBAAG left off.... Elaboration began...

To sum things up, after the army I lazed around (which I have no recollection of). Then there was the Japan trip. And then it was SECC and wham, I'm in SH. Yr 1 came and went, most of which should be in my blog and are too old to elaborate.

Then there was Orientation, we won Rag. And so the story begins....
