It's the Monday blues...

Oh well, let's cover some ground before hitting Monday.

Gaming Friday
Today's game would have to be Call of Duty 5: World at War. If this games rocks, you should have heard of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Never heard of it? Go get it by all means possible.

I started playing during reading week (1 week before exams) and finished it during readng week. That's how addictive it was.

Reflective Saturday
Since being the festive season, the soccer schedule is all messed up as well. Liverpool played on Friday and will do so again on Sunday. Other than that, seems somehow there isn't much of a Xmas mood going around me. Oh well, there's the New Year to look forward to, and also Chinese New Year. With so much free time on my hands, I've decided to start my spring cleaning early and set about my resolutions. Will tell you at the stroke of midnight in 2009.

Soccer Sunday
Ah.. Liverpool were top of the table in Christmas, and now, top again ending 2008 and going 2009 with a 3 pt lead. I guess that's the best gift I've got in terms of soccer, second to them winning the Champions League. Next week, the FA Cup.

Manic Monday
Remember Olga Kurylenko? She's the latest bond girl. But lotsa people tell me that she isn't that nice in the Bond movie. Well check out this vid and let it do the talking.

TGIF Friday
The game for today is Need For Speed: Undercover. Just install it after finishing Red Alert 3. NFSU basically feels like Most Wanted, but with heavier graphics. I had to adjust my settings till I got a smooth ride and the arrow keys could react in time to the curbs. Other than that, I started with a super sucky car, and the cops aren't that easy now, or maybe my com's lagging.

Reflective Saturday
I wasn't really around to blog this part. As I was in a sailing workshop/camp. It was really fun, and as always, you learn something new, meet new people and understand those you know even better. It was one of those days that I could really let my hair down and relax. Yes, I have been on my toes for so long it felt normal and to get my feet on the ground again really recharged my senses and ready for the new year ahead.

Sports Sunday
Well, the F1 season's over, so there's only soccer to talk about. Liverpool drew with Arsenal and again could have won an extended the lead at the top. But oh well, Chelsea cocked up too. Guess they're like girls who PMS together. But, there's the Volvo Ocean Race coming into town! Will be helping out and hope to really dive into this new sport. It's already almost a year since I started this sport. Time flies eh.

Manic Mondays
Ah the girls section. To start off, the Victoria Secrets Fashion Show. Always shown at the of the year. Always a reminder that god is a guy and if they promise this in heaven, I'd rather go there than stay on earth. As always, it's everywhere in the web, but you can also get it from me. :)

It rox and reinstates why they say it's almost the best season of 24. Now watching Survivor Gabon. Also building up to a classic season. The blind-siding rox!

THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE

I just finished watching the first season of 24. It really rox! Now I finally understand the reason why everyone was saying it was bloody good.

Next stop: Survivor Gabon, if my friends can lay claim it's the best survivor ever. I'd better start soon. Actually watched till episode 4, but stopped cos I was too busy. Time to pick it up again.

THE SHOW MUST GO ON

Well, it's been a ghost town of late. But I'm back with a plan.

I was trying to think about what to write all the time and I began to realise it always falls into these categories. Then I thought, why not put it all into a weekly post. Then again, it would have been too much effort for someone lazy like me. Then an idea struck me last night to put it into section a day. And tada! The list you see today.

Let's start with:
Sports Sunday
- Well, most of the sports I follow happen in the weekend and thus Sunday would be a good time to wrap things up and rant about the good, bad and ugly side of sports.

Manic Mondays
- Well, women can make your mondays blue, but they can also chase them away. If it's about women, it's gotta be on Mondays.

News As I Read It (Tuesday)
-As a typical rush hour train commuter who hogs standing room because of reading the Today Paper, news always hits me in the morning. Tues the time to give you my side of the story.

Whining Wednesday
-It's always the midweek when you start thinking and complaining about stuff. So what better way to whine about it than spill the beans here.

-By Thur, my downloads should be in full swing, and also the best time to talk about all the media stuff like Music/Movies/TVs/Anime
